What kind of equipment do you shoot with?
I use a Canon 5D Mark IV body and switch between the 70-200mm 2.8, 24-70mm 2.8, and 100mm 2.8 L lenses.
You are based in San Antonio, Are you willing to travel?
Yes! I am based in San Antonio and often work throughout the surrounding areas, as well as the Austin and Central Texas surrounding areas, but can go pretty much anywhere.
Depending on the distance, travel fees may apply.
How much do you charge, what do we get, and how long does it take?
Just follow the link here:
You will receive a high-resolution USB with all the original JPEG files as well as select Digitally Enhanced images. That way you have everything from your session!
I typically give myself at least 3-4 weeks to finish photos. A shorter wedding may be finished much sooner, whereas a longer day; the processing of your images may take between 3-5 weeks.
How many images do we receive from our wedding?
It really depends on the length of the day (number of hours hired). I don't set any limits and continually shoot in the time allowed. A 1 hour session may be 200-300 photos, where as a 6 hour plus may be 2000-3000 photos. I pull the best photos from those to digitally enhance.
Are all the photos edited?
No. I sort through to pull out the best overall photos to do edits on. This is based on image quality, sharpness, and emotion of the photo. Edits include; color correction, cropping, black & whites, sepia, etc.
Do you bring back-up equipment?
Yes! I do have a back-up camera and a variety of lenses. I’ve never had an issue, but I am always prepared.
How do I pay you, and can I make payments? Is there a Deposit?
I accept cash, checks, and through PayPal. You can make payments leading up to your wedding, but I must be paid in full before or on the wedding day. For all weddings, I require a $100 retainer fee along with the signed contract. That officially hires me as your photographer and books the day. The deposit retainer fee does count towards your total, with the remaining amount due by the wedding day.
